Waist
Locate your natural waist by bending slightly to one side the crease that forms is your waistline. Measure around this point, keeping one finger between the tape and your body for a comfortable fit.
Hips
Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips (typically 7–8 inches below your waist).
Inseam (For Pants)
For full-length pants, measure from the inner crotch seam down to about 1 inch below your ankle bone.
